techno in my fridge no click

Next weekend sees French techno legend Ivan Smagghe (Kill The DJ) return to Hackney’s liveliest dive bar, Dalston Superstore, for semi-regular night Techno In My Fridge. Having co-founded seminal electroclash act Black Strobe and coined its sound as “frozen balearic gay biker house", Smagghe has since gone onto to find international acclaim as a solo DJ and also with occasional partner-in-crime Andrew Weatherall. No doubt aiding and informing his DJ career (and vice versa) is his day job as A&R over at Parisian record label Kill The DJ.

With a CV like this, it’s little wonder that Smagghe’s reputation sits as one of the most respected “DJ’s DJ”. To see this master at work answer our simple question to be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets to see him play at Dalston Superstore on Friday 6th July alongside Natalie Coleman (Mooch) and Techno In My Fridge residents Mikki Most and Alexander Parade.

What record label does Ivan Smagghe work for?

  1. Hang The DJ
  2. Kill The DJ
  3. Kill Da DJ
