Relatively new kids on the block, the dedicated party promoters and all-round electronic music aficionados behind MODU:LAR are doing big things very fast. Only up to their second episode on the rave circuit, they’ve already enlisted the musical machinations of a:rpia:r’s Rhadoo, bringing a coveted piece of the Romanian house scene to their home city of Liverpool.
On the 4th of April music fans will pour into Liverpool’s warehouse style venue The Garage, which has already hosted some real heroes on the dance music scene and, thanks to its extended opening hours, has the potential to give you one of those epic nights out that bleed well into the next day.
Showing that it really means business, MODU:LAR has booked Rhadoo for a solid six hour set, with potential to go on indefinitely if the mood is sweet and the artist is game. And we’re confident he will be – Rhadoo has made is name over the last fifteen years by engaging in a busy European touring schedule which covers everything from Bucharest, London and Ibiza, by taking risks at gigs, by pushing a deep and powerful sound which resonates with all who hear it, and by constantly producing quality dance music in the studio, combining with a:rpia:r colleagues Raresh and Pedro to create quality music which connects with a whole generation of clubbers. So rest assured, he’ll be bringing something special to this gig.
Supporting Rhadoo will be the excellent MODU:LAR residents Nerram and Scott Grant, who will stoke the dance floor fires until Rhadoo’s start at 2am.
“Here at MODU:LAR we’re lucky enough to be part of a close circle of friends that have travelled the country and indeed the continent encountering loads of unique places, people and music along the way. Journey’s aside – we’re also lucky to live in a city with a top class electronic music circuit which has shaped our taste over the years and refined our outlook on the scene as a whole. We’re all about the music and the experience.”
All the pieces are in place to make the 4th of April a landmark event for the nascent Modu:lar shindigs and the Liverpool clubbing scene – all you need to do is show up and give us your best fist pump.
