The latest in a distinguished line of DJs to grace the hallowed mixing decks of the Meoko podcast is none other than Fuse resident Seb Zito. Alongside Rich NxT and founder Enzo Siragusa, Seb has helped transform the London party from one of the capital’s favourite Sunday hangouts, to one of the wider international scene’s most revered and respected day-parties. His penchant for top-quality, groovy house and techno, always expertly collated and mixed, has made Seb into one of London’s most talented spinners. As if that wasn’t enough, Seb has recently been upping his production game, making music in the hope of strengthening record label Fuse London’s position within the scene. And what then of the mix? Seb’s offering is an hour long jaunt into the deep, rolling recesses of his record box. Driving, repetitive beats merge discreetly into one another, with Zito placing strong emphasis on the weight and force of his basslines. Every now and then a subdued, soulful vocal or a spirited drum break will unexpectedly rear its head giving the mix a new lease of life, only for Seb to soon revert back to his preferred, default sonic position: deep, undulating and effortlessly groovy electronic music.
